The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation.  In this instructor-led course you will receive direct instruction from two NRA-certified instructors. The class takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment.  After some classroom instruction, you will proceed to the range and all students will start with dry fire drills.  You will then proceed to live fire instructions and practice with 22LR pistols under the eyes of the instructors.  As each student becomes comfortable with the 22LR, they may proceed to use the 9mm pistols.  Instructors will provide an assortment of pistols for students to try or the students may bring their own if they have them.  Safety is of the utmost importance as well as having a good time in a safe and very educational environment.
